The factory has its own silk-screen printing workshop to print its decorations.The third technique used for applying decorations at J.L Coquet is spraying. Craftsmen use a spray gun to apply a carefully measured amount of paint onto the pieces while they are on a lathe. Each piece is weighed to ensure that the decorations are consistent in quality and quantity, resulting in plain, delicate, or intense colors depending on the amount of paint used.Inlay is a delicate form of decoration that involves the use of chromolithography and sandblasting techniques. Skilled craftsmen create refined and elegant decorations on porcelain through this method.
