About the Work

For 250 years, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin has been a brand that continually pushes boundaries. Its innovative initiatives have included the invention of rosé champagne in 1775 and collaborations with forward-thinking designers such as Andrée Putman and the Campana Brothers. Madame Clicquot, who inherited the house in 1805, lived by the motto "Only one quality, the finest," and created the first vintage and riddling rack, both significant innovations in champagne production. Today, the iconic yellow label represents a complete lifestyle and continues to make history. The Hôtel du Marc, Veuve Clicquot's home base in Reims, was renovated in 2010 by interior designer Bruno Moinard, and is now adorned with contemporary works by artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Karen Knorr, and Pablo Reinoso. The house has also partnered with Michelin-starred chef Joël Robuchon and collaborated with Ferrari to create the limited-edition Veuve Clicquot Maranello collection. Additionally, Veuve Clicquot is actively involved in sustainability efforts, such as reducing emissions and introducing eco-friendly packaging made from grape pulp. Between tradition and modernity, Veuve Clicquot represents a way of life "à la Clicquot," synonymous with excellence, authenticity, and classic culture.
