Enoc Perez was born in 1967 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and currently resides in New York City. Perez earned his B.F.A at Pratt Institute before receiving his M.F.A at Hunter College.Perez has exhibited at various institutions worldwide, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, MoCA in North Miami, Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, and Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Notably, from November to February 2013, he had a solo exhibition at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C. His work can be found in several prominent collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, and the British Museum in London.
