RIMOWA, established in Cologne in 1898, is renowned for its effortless travel and sleek design. With a focus on craftsmanship, dedication, and innovation, RIMOWA has positioned itself as a luxury goods manufacturer that does not allow trends to dictate their design. The company's foundation was built on the values of impeccable construction and utmost stability, laid by Paul Morszeck 120 years ago. In the 1920s, the suitcases gained popularity among the world's travelers who valued function above all else. RIMOWA's success continued with the launch of the first aluminum luggage in 1937, which made all their products unique and distinctive. This book honors 120 years of the brand's functional and practical luxury, delving into the history and people behind it. It focuses on the creativity and ingenuity that have characterized RIMOWA's innovative designs, laying the groundwork for a dynamic future.
