About the Designers

Christofle upholds the value of goldsmithing and haute-silversmithing as trades that not only reflect the customs of an era but also create timeless objects that can be cherished for centuries. To achieve this goal, many talented artists and designers have collaborated with the silversmiths, master silversmiths, and design studio of the house to create remarkable collections. These include Man Ray, Cocteau, Gio Ponti, Lino Sabatini, Christian Fjerdingstad, and Andrée Putman, who made significant contributions to the house's creations in the 20th century. Recently, Christofle has partnered with renowned designers such as Marcel Wanders (Jardin d'Eden collection), the Nendo studio (Constellation collection), Eric Schmitt (Céleste collection), Sarah Espeute (Sarah Espeute for Christofle), and artist Richard Orlinski (animal sculptures).
