About the Artist
Paris-based artist Kriki was born in 1965 and founded a group of painters called Nuklé-Art in 1984. He honed his skills on the streets and in the underground, contributing to the beginnings of what is now known as "Street Art." Kriki belongs to the generation of artists whose sensibility is expressed through Free Figurative Art, which he helps to renew.In 1985, Kriki invented a character called "Fuzz," a half-robot, half-fetish, polymorphous piece that has become a true signature of the artist. Its emblematic head now sits on the shoulders of the Daumot 163 robot. Kriki has always been impressed by the sophisticated manual work and French craftsmanship that radiates throughout the world. At the Daum crystal manufacturer, he reconnects with his passion for arts and crafts, stating "I find myself once again immersed in the artistry and manual work that amazes and moves me."
