About the Artist

JonOne, also known as JonOne156, was born in 1963 in New York, USA and currently lives and works in Paris, France. At 17, he began his career in the world of graffiti, and in 1984, he founded the 156 All Starz group in New York. His style is characterized by abstract works influenced by the movement, colors, and energy of the city, setting him apart from the figurative styles of many other graffiti writers at the time.

In 1985, JonOne started working on canvas with the ambition of leaving behind a lasting legacy. He moved to Paris in 1987 and began working in a collective atelier with Street art pioneers. Since 1990, JonOne has exhibited his works in solo and group exhibitions worldwide, showcasing his explosive energy and colors. He refers to his art as "abstract expressionist graffiti."

Daum collaborated with JonOne to further establish its mark in urban art. The crystal manufacturer gave the artist free rein to express his creativity and created pieces that imprint his colorful art on crystal, playing with intense and acidulous colors that interact with the reliefs and reflections of light.
