Lalique found inspiration in the Owl, a mythical bird that represents wisdom, in 1994. This led to the creation of two tumblers featuring strong, structured lines. The range was expanded in 1995 with the addition of a decanter that boasts a uniquely-shaped crystal owl stopper.The satin-finished crystal owl motif against a swirling crystal wave background on each glass and decanter evokes the antique "bas-reliefs" style. This intricate frieze, crafted in relief, displays exceptional depth, a technical marvel never before seen in such works, and exemplifies the tremendous savoir-faire of Lalique's glass-makers.
