In 1994, Lalique drew inspiration from the mythical bird of wisdom, the Owl, to create two tumblers featuring strong, structured lines. The following year, a decanter with a unique shape and a crystal owl stopper was added to the range.The owl motif, in satin-finished crystal, is set against a contrasting shimmering background of swirling crystal waves, evoking the style of antique bas-reliefs. The intricate frieze, worked in relief, gives each glass and decanter great depth, showcasing the tremendous savoir-faire of Lalique's glass-makers in a technical masterpiece.
