Living at Home
Since 1863, Bernardaud, the French porcelain house, has stood for the entire art of Limoges porcelain, a perfect combination of knowledge, innovation, creativity and French tradition. One collection that particularly highlights this heritage is the whimsically humorous Marinette collection. It consists of various drawings that look almost hand-drawn in earthy colours. Many aspects are reminiscent of 1960s French ceramics and places like Vallauris, Madoura and St Paul de Vence in the south of France. It evokes memories of artists like Picasso and others who influenced this style. The designs are by Vincent and Romain Buffile, potters from Aix-en-Provence, who continue this rich tradition.
