Assouline and Chanel have collaborated to release an updated trilogy that honors the timeless essence, signatures, and legacy of Chanel. The set comes in a slipcase and features three Mémoire volumes: Chanel Fashion, Chanel Jewelry and Watches, and Chanel Fragrance and Beauty.Chanel Fashion by Anne Berest:Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, a visionary self-inventor, carved her own path to become the most influential fashion designer of the 20th century. She rejected the constrictive styles of the time, introducing a new sophisticated and natural silhouette. This spirit of modern luxury and Parisian savoir-faire, which Karl Lagerfeld elaborated on over the years, continues to this day with Virginie Viard, the new artistic director.Chanel Jewelry and Watches by Fabienne Reybaud:Like Mademoiselle Chanel’s iconic “Bijoux de Diamants” high jewelry collection, the Chanel Jewelry Creation Studio is perpetually inspired and visionary. It embodies the unique spirit that characterizes Chanel’s high jewelry from 1932 to the present day. Similarly, the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio has touched on every métier related to the art of haute horlogerie in over thirty years of watchmaking. The watches are conceived as objects of pleasure without sacrificing the technical and artisanal expertise required to create precious objects. These watches are made to stand the test of time.Chanel Fragrance and Beauty by Marion Vignal:Gabrielle Chanel was ahead of her time with the creation of her revolutionary N°5 fragrance in 1921, followed by the launch of her first makeup line in 1924, and then the release of her skincare products in 1927. True to this unique heritage, Chanel’s fragrances, skincare, and makeup lines have always been exemplars of excellence in creativity, research, and technique. Simple, effective, and elegant, these beauty products embody the holistic vision of the house of Chanel.
