. The Daum archives describe the first artistic attempts on the theme of women with Almaric Walter between 1905 and 1912, but the real momentum only came from the 1960s onwards. Since then, more than 70 artists have interpreted the woman at Daum for an infinite sensuality.

About the Artist

Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle is a French painter and sculptor born in Meknès, Morocco, in 1952. She studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Pau and spent two years at the Phnom-Penh Fine Arts faculty in Cambodia. Her works pay tribute to grace and femininity, drawing and sculpting women into bronze with expressive curves that emanate contemplation and inner strength.

Since 2005, Deville-Chabrolle has collaborated with Daum, transposing her works into crystal sculptures that exude evident harmony and great beauty.
