The legend of Costa Smeralda's globally acclaimed luxury hotel, Cala di Volpe, is rooted in its unforgettable and unique essence, shaped meticulously by a handful who truly understood the spirit of this enchanting place. This understanding was evident in their reverence for nature, their value for local customs, and their acknowledgment of artisanship. One cannot set foot in Sardinia without being moved by its astounding natural allure. Architect Jacques Couëlle, known as the “sculptor of houses,” was no exception. When designing Cala di Volpe, he exclusively used local resources, aiming to blend seamlessly with the environment. Perfectly melded with the landscape, the hotel stands as a testament to organic design, adorned with terra-cotta touches and a soft-hued facade—a truly elegant retreat.
