He currently resides in Paris.Anfisa Vrubel, an editor, writer, and researcher, specializes in the interplay between art, culture, and politics. As an editor-at-large at Art Observed and Purple magazine, she produces original features and conducts interviews with prominent figures in politics, ecology, art, and culture. Anfisa's academic background includes a degree in government from Harvard University, which laid the foundation for her editorial career. Her professional journey has led her to collaborate with publications like The Brooklyn Rail and The River Rail, a publication dedicated to environmental art and criticism. Anfisa's upbringing in New York City informs her work, and she currently splits her time between there and Mexico City.
