About the Author

Dan Rattiner, an award-winning writer, cartoonist, and photographer, first fell in love with The Hamptons when he moved to Montauk at the age of sixteen, and has been a resident of the East End ever since. At age twenty, Rattiner founded the widely-read Dan’s Papers, a free weekly publication. He has also contributed to The New York Times and hosted “The Hamptons Report,” a weekly radio show for WQXR. Rattiner has written several books, including In the Hamptons, In the Hamptons Too, In the Hamptons Forever, and Still in the Hamptons.
