Having previously written as a columnist for Corriere della Sera in New York, he currently contributes his writings to La Repubblica. His insightful perspectives have graced the pages of esteemed publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Financial Times.Riotta is also an accomplished author, having penned two captivating novels that showcase the allure of Sicily: "Prince of the Clouds" (published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux) and "The Lights of Alborada" (published by HarperCollins).
