For half a century, Smiley has been a symbol of hope and positivity, inspiring people worldwide to embrace the power of a smile. What began as a happiness campaign in the pages of the French newspaper France Soir, designed to draw attention to uplifting news stories, has grown into a global movement that has revolutionized the way we share joy and communicate with each other. Since that first iconic Smiley face appeared, the brand has shaped popular culture, inspired musical movements and social change, and collaborated with the world's leading brands to spread their message of positivity through clothing, gifts, campaigns, and emoticons. To mark this momentous occasion, Smiley presents Smiley: 50 Years of Good News, a vibrant retrospective celebrating their first half-century, featuring highlights from their most memorable partnerships, historic moments that brought us all smiles, and much more.
