She is based in London and contributes to the Financial Times's How To Spend It magazine as a contributing editor. Becker also writes for the Saturday Telegraph magazine, as well as various newspapers and magazines worldwide. She curated Jewels of Fantasy, a traveling exhibition of 20th-century costume jewelry, and organized and wrote the catalog for the first major exhibition of the jewelry of René Lalique. Becker regularly lectures and broadcasts on the subject of jewelry design.
