Charles Lewis Tiffany opened his first store in New York City in 1837, where he sold French "fancy goods." His brand, Tiffany & Co., has since become synonymous with luxury, romance, and exceptional gemstones. The company's evolution spans 185 years, embracing cultural and artistic influences while renewing its rich legacy. Tiffany has collaborated with iconic designers, including Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, and Jean Schlumberger, to remain dynamic and relevant to each generation. The brand's annual high jewelry collections continue to captivate with fantasy, while its original collections offer personal self-expression, remaining true to Tiffany's pioneering spirit.Assouline's catalog for the exhibition Vision and Virtuosity at the Saatchi Gallery in London encapsulates Tiffany's history, creativity, and heritage. The book showcases Tiffany's advertising campaigns, window displays, diamond expertise, Blue Book jewel collections, and the stories behind the iconic blue box, the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the famous yellow Tiffany Diamond. The book is available in both Icon and Ultimate editions.
