The vase, designed by Paolo Venini in 1932, captivates with its graceful shape and colours.
The Opalino collection combines the 15th century with the neoclassicism of the Novecento group of artists, creating a journey through time. The creation of the Opalino vase (milk glass) represents the discovery of a new order with essential and refined lines.
About the Technique
The Soffiato technique gets its name from the fact that craftsmen blow air into a long metal rod connected to the glass to stretch and shape it - a tradition in glassmaking that goes back thousands of years.
