About the Author

Vivienne Becker is an author, journalist, and jewelry historian. She has written several books on antique and twentieth-century jewelry design, such as Art Nouveau Jewelry and Fabulous Costume Jewelry. In 2009, she collaborated with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright on the best-selling book Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat’s Jewel Box. Vivienne is also a contributing editor for the Financial Times's Luxury magazine, How to Spend It, and writes for Saturday Telegraph magazine. She frequently gives lectures on the topic of jewelry design.
